What will be discussed:

Within the last twelve months, in addition to the pandemic, employee benefit professionals have had to contend with two major pieces of legislation, the SECURE Act and the CARES Act. Most of the new laws’ provisions were effective in 2020. As we  enter 2021, where do we stand? This session will cover where we are now and what to consider moving forward. Issues to be discussed include long-term part-time employee coverage, safe harbor 401(k) plan changes, plan document and amendment concerns, as well as partial termination relief provided by the recent stimulus bill.  A discussion of recent IRS guidance on the SECURE and CARES will also be included.
